  • RN - WOUND CARE - TEMP - DAY shifts
  • Responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with acute or chronic wounds
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive wound care plans
  • Role requires advanced knowledge of wound assessment, treatment modalities, infection control, and patient education
  • Permanent position is non-exempt, full-time, benefitted
  • Day shift schedule anticipated
    • Job Requirements
    • Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
    • Current Wound Care certification, or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
    • Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments
    • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work successfully independently and as part of a team
    • Great customer service and communication skills
    • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally; emotionally mature
    • Reliable and timely with work schedule
    • Flexibility and willingness to accept other duties as assigned

      • Anticipated schedule: Day shifts
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Outpatient Nursing Services (OPNS)
        • Position will float between wound care and oncology/infusion departments
          • Additional Details
          • Level 4 Trauma
          • Blue Scrubs preferred
          • Recognized Holidays: NYD, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
          • Work week defined as Sunday Morning 12:01 am through Saturday night 11:59 pm
